Beginning Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, Alachua County will open two residential hurricane vegetative debris disposal sites for residents of the county to use.
The sites are:
- Northwest Landfill - 15404 CR 235A in Alachua
- Southwest Landfill - located along State Road 24, next to the Archer Rural Collection Center site at 19401 SW Archer Road in Archer
Both locations are open every day from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The sites are for Alachua County residents only. Users must provide their name, address and driver’s license. The center doesn’t accept debris from commercial parcels or commercial debris removal companies. The sites are for hurricane vegetative debris only.
