Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair

Alachua County Veteran Services, in collaboration with community partners, will host the Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Santa Fe College Blount Center (530 W. University Avenue, Gainesville).

The event is free and open to all veterans. It aims to reduce barriers to care, support stability and strengthen connections between veterans and the community resources available to them.

The resource fair will bring together organizations and community partners to connect veterans with a wide range of essential services in one location. Attendees will have access to employment assistance, housing resources, VA medical enrollment, medical screenings and more. On-site providers will offer direct assistance, information, and referrals, helping veterans navigate available resources and understand their benefits.

“This event is about providing immediate support while also connecting veterans and their families to long-term resources that strengthen stability and well-being,” said Alachua County Veteran Services Director Olajuwon White. “By bringing community partners and essential services together in one place, we help ensure veterans not only receive help today, but know exactly where to turn tomorrow.”
