Eleventh Annual Employment Law Seminar

Alachua County invites residents to the Eleventh Annual Employment Law Seminar on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The seminar is free and conducted via Zoom. Attendees must register online. Private and public employers are welcome to attend.

This year’s topics include:

  • Recent Developments in Employment Law
  • Addressing Barriers to Employment
  • U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity
  • Commission (EEOC) Enforcement Initiatives
  • Managing Through Change

This webinar is sponsored by the Alachua County Equal Opportunity Office and the City of Gainesville Office of Equity and Inclusion. 

According to Alachua County Equal Opportunity Manager Jacqueline Chung, “The annual Employment Law Seminar is a joint outreach effort by the County and the City to provide high quality/low-cost employment law training for local employers.” She continued, “We greatly appreciate the community participation and support over the past ten years, and the positive feedback from last year’s attendees including, ‘Greatly enjoyed the seminar,’ ‘The seminar was extremely informative,’ and ‘Thank you for having this, it was a good learning opportunity.’”.
