Helene Update 16 – Report Damage and Storm Update

If you have damage to your personal property, please report your damages. When submitting damage reports, please submit photos as it will help with overall damage assessment, but do not put yourself in danger to get a photo.

Public Safety and Utility crews are working hard to assess, repair, and restore infrastructure throughout the county. If you do not have to be on the roadways, please consider staying indoors. The faster the utility and public works crews can access the damaged areas, the faster they can restore services.

Please report downed trees that are not causing a significant life safety issue to the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency phone number at 352-955-1818. If a tree involves a powerline, or is causing a significant life safety issue, please call 911.

Northwest CR 231 between NW 156th Ave. and 177th Avenue is closed. View a map of the closure
