Take 5- Economic Development Workshop (May, 2014)

This edition of Alachua County Take 5 highlights the Business and Economic Growth Workshop hosted by Alachua County and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce. The workshop was a public-private partnership between the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners and the Chamber of Commerce.

The intent of the workshop was to discuss improving the outlook on business and economic growth in the County and to present the recently created Strategic Plan for Economic Development. The plan was created by the Alachua County Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC), and the BoCC is looking for feedback, recommendations, and ideas for implementation.
