The Alachua County Commission recently cut ribbon on two new Fire Rescue Stations: Station 33 (5901 N.W. 34th Blvd., Gainesville) and Station 40 (14377 N.E. US Highway 301, Waldo). Both stations feature energy efficient equipment and sustainable design building features, and 100% back-up generated power. Brame Heck Architects provided architectural and engineering services for the project, and the D.E. Scorpio Corporation is the construction management firm.
