Small Business​ Waste

Only​ Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG) Businesses may drop of hazardous waste for proper disposal for a fee. Under Alachua County Code Chapter 353, Florida Administrative Code 62-730 and CFR 40-260 businesses must properly dispose of hazardous​ waste irrespective of the quantities. 

No matter the quantity businesses must pay for disposal. Please see the fee schedule under Important Information for current prices or feel free to call with your questions​.

Alachua County Residents may also dispose of household hazardous waste at the 5 Rural Collection Centers found on the map below in (Blue).

Neighboring County Residents may also dispose of household hazardous waste at the closest Toxic Round-Up collection event found on the map below in (Orange). Click for date and time.

All North Florida Residents (Alachua and Neighboring Counties) as well as VSQG small businesses can use the main Alachua County Household Hazardous Waste Collection center year-round found on the map below​ in (Green).​
