Alachua County explores food hub plan to bring fresh food to communities in need

"The market research report told us the community told us there is a need for East Gainesville support to give them fresh and healthy produce,” said Bailey McClellan with Tourism and Economic Development. “There is a food insecurity occurring in the East Gainesville area and accessibility struggles, and so this project has awareness and it has that lens on for how this could serve the county and keep farmers growing and enter new products, but also address those food insecurity across the county.

Honoring the Departed ceremony to be held Oct. 22

Alachua County to consider redistricting on tight timeline for 2026

Alachua County Commission says decision on extending GCRA would be ‘premature’

Alachua County Commission signals commitment to continuous transportation service for disabled individuals
