The North Florida Livestock Agents Group is hosting the 2023 UF/IFAS Livestock & Forages Field Day on July 20, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Santa Fe River Ranch (29220 NW 122 Street, Alachua).
The field day provides equipment and livestock demonstrations and presentations from UF/IFAS Specialists and County Agents. Topics include livestock tagging requirements, livestock fencing demonstration, cattle pregnancy testing methods, general livestock nutrition, pasture weed identification, and herbicide selection.
The registration fee is $20.00 (plus a $3.18 Eventbrite fee) and includes lunch. Participants must
register online by July 19 (The registration fee if paying at the door is $40.00). There are no refunds for the registration fee.
