Due to a hurricane preparedness exercise, Alachua County Animal Services will be closed on Saturday, June 23, 2018. During this time, the field operations team will handle high-priority and emergency calls relating to small animals. Dispatchers can be reached for small animal emergencies during the day on Saturday by calling 352-264-6880.
For complaints about horses or livestock and after-hours emergencies, call Alachua County’s E-911 Dispatch at 352-955-1818.
The shelter will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, June 26. Regular shelter hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
