Understanding Home Hydroponics – April 5, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)
Hydroponics plays an important role in the future and history of crop production. This workshop teaches the ins and outs of home-scale hydroponic production including fundamentals, tools, techniques, and resources for anyone interested in breaking into this field.
There is no registration fee, but participants must
register online. This workshop is limited to 50 participants.
COVID-19 Precautions: Masks are highly recommended.
Florida-Friendly Landscaping™: Alachua County’s HOA FFL Code – April 13, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a Zoom webinar.
This workshop, designed for management companies and property owners active within their HOAs, will review the new Alachua County Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Code adopted in April 2019. Participants will come away with strategies that homeowners and HOAs can use when working together to install a Florida-Friendly landscape.
There is no registration fee, but participants must
register online. This workshop is limited to 500 participants.
