The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Livestock program for April 2022. This program is being offered by Dr. Cindy Sanders, Director/Livestock Agent, UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County.
North Florida Beef Production Workshop – April 20 through April 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the University of Florida Beef Teaching Unit (3301 S.W. 23 Terrace, Gainesville)
This workshop is a three-day, hands-on workshop to learn about beef cattle reproduction in theory and in practice. The focus is to bring information that can apply to the operation and ultimately help beef producer’s bottom line.
The registration is fee is $300.00 per person and includes lunch, materials, and refreshments. Participants must
register online (click the registration link to view a complete schedule of events). The workshop is limited to 20 participants. An additional three-day workshop will be held in Marion County from May 24 to May 26, 2022. Registration for this event is
