Call to Artists for University and Main Sculpture

The Alachua County Arts Council invites artists or artist teams to submit proposals for a sculpture on the West Lawn of the Alachua County Administration Building. This location (on the corner of University Avenue and Main Street) is one of the County’s most visited, visible, and iconic intersections.

The objective of the County Commission is to choose a work that depicts the importance of government aspiring to listen to the voice of its citizens.  The statue will be installed on a 12’x12’ concrete slab. The budget for the project is up to $37,550.

Submittals are due to Alachua County Procurement by Tuesday, February 9, 2021, no later than 11:59 p.m. via the Codaworx website (Registration is free).
