December Commercial Horticulture Program

landscape professionalsThe UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Commercial Horticulture Program for December 2019. This program is being offered by Dr. Tatiana Sanchez, Commercial Horticulture Agent, at the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office (2800 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville).

Advanced Landscape for Professionals – December 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This program is designed to enhance the professional development of personnel in the green industry and an opportunity for license renewal. A variety of core concepts are covered as well as design tips to have healthy landscapes and how to troubleshoot problems in the landscape.

This program will provide the required CEUs for license renewal for multiple pesticide licenses that work with landscape management. CEUs will be available in the following categories: Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance, Limited Lawn and Ornamental, Commercial Lawn and Ornamental, and Ornamental and Turf.

The registration fee is $30.00 (includes class materials & refreshments). Participants should register online (those needing assistance with registering can call the Extension Office at 352-955-2402) by December 12. The late registration fee is $40.00. There are no refunds for the registration fee.
