The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Commercial Horticulture Program for January 2019. This program is being offered by Dr. Tatiana Sanchez, Commercial Horticulture Agent.
Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop – January 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the UF East Campus Sunshine Skyway Conference Room (2140 NE Waldo Road, Building #1603, Gainesville), and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Family Garden Farm (1655 SE 23 Place, Gainesville)
This workshop will focus on winter orchard management and pruning techniques. Participants should bring loppers and hand pruners if available.
Participants must register online. The registration fee is $20 (late registration fee is $30) and the deadline is January 14. Free visitor parking is available. There are no refunds for registration fees.
