The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Environmental Horticulture program for June 2022. This program is being offered by Dr. Cynthia Nazario-Leary, Environmental Horticulture Agent, at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry).
Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ – June 7, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Landscapes can be beautiful while conserving water, saving money, and minimizing maintenance. Join Master Gardener Volunteer Greg McGann to learn tips for reducing water, minimizing fertilizer inputs, encouraging pollinators, and protecting our water resources in landscapes by following principles of the Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program.
There is no registration fee, but participants must
register online. This program is limited to 50 participants.
