Little Monteocha Creek Bridge Now Open

Alachua County logoReconstruction of the bridge over Little Monteocha Creek on N.E. 21st Street has been completed and the roadway is now open to vehicular traffic.

During Hurricane Irma the roadway and bridge were severely damaged. The County has reconstructed the bridge with an increased capacity to pass flood waters. The County will be reimbursed $1,240,770.16 for construction costs by FEMA for Irma public assistance.
