Alachua County is seeking applicants to fill seven openings and one alternate opening on the Recreation and Open Space Advisory Committee (ROSCO). The committee meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m., in the Alachua County Growth Management Department Offices (10 S.W. 2nd Avenue, Gainesville).
ROSCO provides an opportunity for citizen involvement in Alachua County’s future recreation policies and direction. The Board reviews the Capital Improvement Projects list annually and provides input on projects using Wild Spaces Public Places funding. ROSCO currently has seven citizen-at-large vacancies and a citizen-at-large alternate vacancy.
