Due to the cooler weather in the current overnight forecast, daytime lane closures will be required the remainder of the week for the N.W. 43rd Street project from Newberry Road to US 441. Daytime lane closures will begin Wednesday, March 6, at approximately 8:30 a.m., and continue through 4 p.m., and are expected to last through Friday March 8, 2019. The final layer of asphalt will be placed during this time. Asphalt cannot be placed at temperatures below 45 degrees, thus requiring the daytime lane closures.
Drivers should expect delays when traveling through the area or take an alternate route if possible. Night work will resume next week when evening temperatures are projected to be suitable for paving.
