Alachua County is seeking applicants to fill an opening on the Land Conservation Board (LCB). The Board meets on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m., at the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department (408 W. University Avenue, Gainesville).
The LCB provides an opportunity for citizen involvement in the selection and acquisition of Alachua County Forever Conservation Lands. The Board reviews and recommends properties to the County Commission and provides recommendations on stewardship issues. The LCB currently has a citizen-at-large position vacancy.
Interested applicants may apply online (scroll down the page to Land Conservation Board).
