Please Do Not Register on the State Vaccine Portal

This press release published at the request of the State Department of Health in Alachua County.

Alachua County is assisting the State Department of Health in Alachua County to make sure that the 2,900 residents who inadvertently registered with the State’s online vaccine portal are registered on our local portal. A call center, staffed by County employees, will begin calling those who registered on the wrong portal on Monday, February 22, and Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

Residents will see these last four numbers 6556 on their caller ID. On the call, if it is discovered you are not registered on the proper portal, staff will register you by asking for your first and last name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and birthdate. Once registered, residents will be contacted by the State Department of Health in Alachua County by text or email to set their vaccine appointment.

For more information, contact Alachua County Communications Director Mark Sexton at 352-264-6979 or msexton@alachuacounty.us.
