Tropical Storm Elsa Update #2

Elsa weakened to a tropical storm early this morning. There is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding Elsa’s forecasted track and intensity. Alachua County expects this weekend and early next week to continue to bring rain to the already saturated area. Alachua County is still in the 5-day cone, but specifics on local impacts to this area will become clearer once Elsa passes through Cuba.

This weekend is an excellent time to purchase any missing items for disaster supply kits in case Alachua County does experience local impacts.
