Development Review CommitteeThe Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

Items for the Planning Commission

CPA-05-19 (Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment) – This is a request by Jay Brown of JBrown Professional Group, Inc., agent, for Fourteenth Street Church of Christ, Inc., owners, for a large-scale map amendment to the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan to change the Future Land Use designation from Institutional to Medium High Density Residential (greater than 8, up to 14 dwelling units/acre) on approximately 25.64 acres on parcel number 06326-001-000 located at 1404 Fort Clarke Blvd. This request is associated with ZOM-12-19. ZOM-12-19 (Rezoning) – This is a request by Jay Brown of JBrown Professional Group, Inc., agent, for Fourteenth Street Church of Christ, Inc., owners, to rezone from ‘PD’ (Planned Development) district and ‘R-1A’ (1 to 4 dwelling units/acre) district to ‘R-2A’ (8 to 14 dwelling units/acre) district on approximately 25.64 acres on parcel number 06326-001-000 located at 1404 Fort Clarke Blvd. This request is associated with CPA-05-19. Alachua County Public Elementary School “I” – This is a Preliminary and Final Development Plan for the proposed approximately 97,780 sq. ft. two-story elementary school on approximately 18.3 acres located on Tax Parcel Number 04427-002-000 in the 4000 block of S.W. 122nd Street. Drake Meadows Subdivision (fka Parkwood Subdivision) – This is a Final Development Plan and Plat for a 128 lot single family residential subdivision on approximately 37.2 acres located on Tax Parcel Number 04229-000-000 at the South West intersection of N.W. 21st Avenue and N.W. 143rd Street.
