Executive Summary
The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners (ABoCC) allocated the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) – State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) to address the impact and recovery of the COVID-19 pandemic and address opportunities needed to prepare for future such events in alignment with U.S. Treasury Rules. The $52.25 million received by the County has been allocated:
- $9.5 Million Support Public Health Response
- $11.5 Million Address Negative Economic Impacts
- $15 Million Broadband Infrastructure
- $1.25 Million Water Infrastructure
- $15 Million Replace Public Sector Revenue Loss
Each project will have a distinct Recovery Plan as they are adopted by the ABoCC. Each individually Board adopted plan is included in this report.
