Animal Services "Meow Bow Wow Luau!" Pet Adoption Event

Meow Bow Wow Luau Pet Adoption EventAlachua County Animal Services is hosting “Meow BowWow Luau!”, a half-price 3-day pet adoption event from Thursday, August 8 to Saturday, August 10, 2019,  from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Animal Services Headquarters (3400 N.E. 53rd Ave, Gainesville). Adoption fees for the event are $10 for cats and $20 for dogs.

Every pet adopted opens up a space in the shelter for an animal in need.  When you adopt, you save two lives – the one you adopt and the one needing shelter.  Help us clear the shelter and save animal lives.

Pet adopters must be 18 or older and show ID with proof of current address. If there are already pets in the home, the potential adopter must show proof that owned animals are current on rabies shots and pet licenses. All dogs and cats available for adoption are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before leaving Animal Services.
